What happens if I don’t have the money for the medicine?
Unfortunately, we do not have any influence over what fees are charged for prescriptions and whether or not your prescriptions are covered by medical insurance benefits. When possible, we will be happy to substitute a more affordable prescription if one is available. Even if you choose not to fill your prescription due to cost, you are still responsible for payment of the consultation fee.
Can you treat everyone?
Because patients are not physically present in the office for an exam, there are some conditions that can’t be treated by our healthcare professionals. We have to be careful to ensure all of our patients receive safe, appropriate treatments. For this reason, we cannot treat emergencies, complex healthcare situations, or children under the age of 18. In the event that we are unable to offer necessary treatment, your consultation fee will be refunded.
Does my payment for the online consultation include the cost of the prescription?
Payment for your online consultation does NOT include the cost of your prescription.
You will need to pay for your medications directly to the pharmacy of your choice. Medical insurance can be applied to offset the costs of these medications, and our providers will provide prescriptions for low-cost or generic medicines whenever possible. If your prescribed medicine is outside of your budget, ask your pharmacist about alternatives, insurance coverage, and discounts that can help make your treatment more affordable. It may be easy for the pharmacy to help you fit the cost of the prescribed medication into your budget.
What is FastDocNow's prescription policy?
We do not dispense or mail medications. All prescriptions are sent to your specified, local pharmacy after the consultation. Our fee only covers the cost of the consultation not the prescriptions. You will need to pay prescription fees directly to the pharmacy, either with insurance coverage or out of pocket.
How do I get a refund?
Simply send us an email or complete our simple contact form. We’ll refund the amount of your consultation fee if we cannot prescribe your medication, but once the prescription is sent to the pharmacy, fees are non-refundable.
